Another "last minute" trip planned to do some flying and get some DEN time in watching planes. I chose the very early morning United departure so I'd be to DIA just before sunrise. The weather forecast was optimistic so I'd hopefully have some sunny skies for the last day of 2016.
Because I made the reservations so close to travel date, there were no "free" economy seats available for selection. I think later on an aisle seat in the very back became available but I chose to upgrade to a First Class window seat so I'd be able to exit the plane quickly once on the ground in Denver.
I didn't get a photo of this 737-800 on the ground in PHX before departure but I did photo it on the ground after arriving Denver.
