3 Oct 12 This sundog I photographed through a pair of sunglasses. It was not quite as well defined without the polarizing effect of the sunglasses.



Below is another photo of a sundog I took an March 11, 2012.




I believe this is a sundog I saw on August 16, 2010. I purposfully composed this shot so the sun was behind the light pole on the left.
Additionally, there is a shadow of an aircraft contrail below the contrail that dominates the center of the photo.
