After deplaning from the flight at Keflavik I was very pleased to learn this very 757 was going to be our flight to London Heathrow. Any concerns about how Icelandair was going to handle our long delay in Denver were put to rest. The boarding area was full of people waiting for this flight to London...the late arrival of our airplane meant they had to delay the flight to LHR.

After convincing the gate agents I did NOT have to process through passport control (was told while onboard NOT to do that) I wandered around the small terminal for a few minutes and found the restroom. I was humored by the murals of local birds adorning the walls of the restrooms.

Before too long, boarding for LHR commenced so I joined the queue and in due course I was back aboard TF-ISR.

The flight to London was very nice and passing over the beautiful Scottish and English countryside was very nice. I snapped a lot of photos of some northern islands as well as lakes and what-not. I flew past Prestwick Airport...that was cool to see from cruising altitude. I've only ever been there once...on 31 August 1986.

My arrival video into London Heathrow.

Below is my photo of TF-ISR at the gate at Keflavik Airport prior to boarding for London Heathrow.
