Second leg of this trip is the long-awaited flight aboard Singapore Airlines A350-941 in Ultra Long Range configuration. Of course I can't afford the Business Class fare but Premium Economy was quite affordable, so that is what I booked.
After spending the rest of December 1st in the Newark Airport and trying to sleep some overnight in the gate area where I arrived on United, I awoke to leave the boarding area and find the check-in counter for Singapore Airlines. The counter would open 3 to 3 1/2 hours prior to departure meaning about 6am. I waited around on a bench seat then decided to wait in the area set up for check in.
