My evening at SFO was fairly short-lived as my flight to Newark was departing shortly after I arrived from PHX. I was able to grab a bite to eat at the Asian food restaurant...a bowl of soup and some sushi. Alaska was nice enough to upgrade me to First Class for the red-eye flight.
After arrival at Newark and watching planes for an hour or so, I exited the airport and boarded an Amtrak service to Providence, Rhode Island. The train ride is about four hours long.
