After a night in a hotel near the airport, I made my way back to the terminal for a day's worth of plane watching. DTW is mostly Delta with sprinklings of the other airlines. The windows in the terminal have the pesky black dots on them, making photography difficult. I get it, but boy do they suck.
Our inbound aircraft was coming from Peking and running a bit late. After cleaning and re-stocking we didn't get off the ground until 2 hours after scheduled departure. We landed just 90-odd minutes late at LAX. Below is my photo of N504DN arriving Detroit as flight DL #188 from Peking. I was positioned in the C Concourse for this photo.
