Long story short, my flight back to PHX on the A330 was cancelled. The A330 operating PHX-HNL had to divert back to PHX for a mechanical issue. As a result I was rebooked on a flight to PHX via LAX the next day but I managed to hop back on the same A321 I'd just flown in from LAX for a flight back to LAX.
