For my first trip of 2018 I decided to do a day trip to Denver to watch Frontier planes from the A concourse. I also needed a Frontier trip to keep my miles active with Frontier.
I got a good deal on the round trip with the fare being just under $70. Since I booked a couple weeks in advance I had no idea what the Denver weather would be come flight day. As the weekend approached it looked like it was going to be a nice day in Denver but with cool temps. I checked Flight Radar 24 to see what planes were scheduled to operate the flights. For the A321 up to DEN N708FR Joe Bob the Badger and for the A319 back to PHX N939FR with the penguin quartet of Joe, Jim, Jay and Gary was scheduled. I've flown N708FR before but N939FR would be new. I was hoping there would be no tail swaps!
