I made a Christmas Day trip to California to visit my Pops for the holidays. Of course I took the long way to the Bay Area by flying via LAX so I could watch planes for a few hours. I was originally going to spend the night at LAX and fly up to SFO the next day but I changed my mind and was able to fly up to OAK on my first DC-9-80 service. After reviewing my tickets in December 2020 it appears I sacrificed the day at LAX and another flight on a Braniff DC-8-62 due to my decision.
