After arriving San Diego I had to change terminals and re-do TSA screening...a pain in the butt. Once I got settled in at the Virgin America gate the day started to get interesting. Bay Area weather had gone to shit and was causing flight delays across the country. Long story short, my flight ended up being 2 1/2 hours delayed departing for San Francisco but the flight got there.

After arriving SFO I found my Frontier flight to PHX was quite delayed and would cause me to probably miss the Frontier connection in PHX to Denver. I got on the phone with Frontier and managed to get a seat on the nonstop Frontier flight from SFO to DEN later this evening. It meant I'd get one A320 flight versus the two A319s via the connection in PHX. I also had to pay a tidy sum to make the change but Frontier at least credited me for the $$ paid for the original flights.
