My first General Aviation ride took place in late June 1977. My Uncle Ron hired a Beechcraft C23 N2114W at Cameron Park, California (O61) and made several flights, taking family members on a short aerial tour around the Folsom Lake area.
The photo below shows N2114W at Cameron Park with my cousin Marla. This is also the first photo I took of an aircraft I flew in. In later years, I learned to do a better job trying to make sure the registration was visible.
Years later I had to ask Uncle Ron to check his logbook and tell me what the tail number of this aircraft is.
