Just a few photos of Gerald Meux Jr's awesome 10" Arizona Nike high power rocket.

October 28, 2006 - G. Harry Stine Memorial Launch, Rainbow Valley, AZ
Successful NAR Level 3 Certification Flight on a M1550R "Redline" motor.

April 15, 2007 - Springblast 2007, Rainbow Valley, AZ
Successful launch on a M1939W; descended onto powerlines 1.5 miles from launch site. A bit later that afternoon the wind whipping the rocket around caused the shock cord to break thus freeing the rocket from it's lofty perch. Major damage occured but at least Gerald got the rocket (and more importantly, expensive hardware) back. A couple guys from Adventure Hobbies in Chandler happened to be out in the sticks when it fell and recovered the rocket for Gerald. After some major reconstruction, the Arizona Nike was back in the air.

While Gerald was out assessing the situation he had the foresight to snap a couple photos with his cell phone. 15 months later he posted a message on our Yahoo group that he found the photos and posted them to his Picasa folder.

February 23, 2008 - AHPRA "ARG 08", Rainbow Valley, AZ
Successful launch and recovery on an Animal Motor Works L1400SK "Skidmark" motor in a 75/6000 case. Fourth photo shows Gerald after a successful recovery.

April 12, 2008 - Springblast 2008, Rainbow Valley, AZ
Successful launch and recovery on a M1315W. I took these photos with my zoom lens on Gerald's camera.
